Anderson purchases historic Bremerton
building for growing construction management group
Eric and Sandie Anderson of Art Anderson Associates have purchased the original 1902 Bell Telephone building on Fourth Street in downtown Bremerton. The sale closed January 31. The Andersons also own the historic building at 2nd and Pacific, which houses the firm’s corporate headquarters.

According to Eric Anderson, Art Anderson Associates’ owner and CEO, the company is growing — especially its construction management group which moved into the new building during the first week of February.

The construction management group has been under contract with the General Services Administration (GSA), the government agency that owns and operates Federal buildings/property, since 1987, to provide construction management services for projects in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Currently, the firm is providing construction management services for eighteen active GSA projects, including the provision of project site representation, schedule analysis, geotechnical oversight, and project office administration support for the $150+ million new United State District Courthouse at Seventh Avenue and Stewart Street in Seattle and a new $16.7 mission United State/Canadian Shared Border Station in Oroville, Washington and Osoyoos, B.C.

NBBJ Architects of Seattle designed the 23-story Seattle Courthouse. The Oroville Port of Entry was designed by Cutler-Anderson Architects of Bainbridge Island.
