Harris new CRS president
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Chapter of Washington State has installed Jim Harris as its new president. Harris is an Associate Broker with Prudential Northwest Real Estate in Silverdale.

The CRS designation is the highest professional residential designation bestowed by the National Association of Realtors, and is based on significant experience and volume of completed real estate transactions. Every CRS designee must have a proven track record as well as advanced education in related areas such as finance and marketing.

Nationally only 5 percent of all licensed Realtors hold a CRS designation, yet they are involved in 25 percent of all residential real estate transactions. Less than 4.5 percent of the more than 25,000 real estate agents in Washington State hold a CRS. The Washington State CRS chapter has a little over 800 members.
