| The Washington State office of Community Development has awarded Kitsap County $78,750 to help defray the costs of updating its Comprehensive Plan, which is mandated under the Growth Management Act (GMA). The county Planning Commission is currently working on the update and will be considering site-specific rezone requests shortly.
All the cities also received money from the state to update their comp plans as well.
Bremerton will receive $36,750, while Bainbridge Island gets $26,250. Poulsbo $15,750, and Port Orchard $15,000. |
