John L. Scott, founder of John L. Scott Real Estate has been inducted into the 2001 Junior Achievement Puget Sound Business Hall of Fame.

The Oct. 2, event was the 15th year of the ongoing partnership between the Puget Sound Business Journal and Junior Achievement of Greater Puget Sound to select and honor the icons of the Puget Sound-area business community.

Scott joins 62 high profile members of the Puget Sound community who have been inducted over the past 15 years. Scott was recognized for his leadership, creative vision and social responsibility that created the positive business model for John L. Scott Real Estate. John L. Scott’s accomplishments were honored along with Henry Jansen, Bruce A. Nordstrom, John N. Nordstrom, James F. Nordstrom, and John A. (Jack) McMillian.
