Windermere’s Kitsap offices
present $13,000 to local groups
   Sales associates and staff with the four Windermere Real Estate offices in Kitsap recently teamed up with the Windermere Foundation to donate $13,000 to five local organizations.

The Windermere Foundation was created in 1989 to provide funds to social service agencies that offer housing and services to low-income arid homeless children and families in their communities Funds raised for the Foundation are returned to the community from which they originated.

Receiving funs were:
• $2,250 — St. Vincent de Paul in Bremerton for the Assistance program they provide to help get homeless families off the street and into homes.

• $1,000 — Kitsap Community Resources for the rental assistance program and emergency fund used for payment of electric bills and transportation.

• $3,500 — YWCA for repairs to their rest rooms in the Alive Shelter ($2,000) and the Back to-school Program ($1,500).

• $2,250 — St. Vincent de Paul in Poulsbo for their Holiday Food Basket and Back-to School programs.

• $2,000 — Royal Family Kids Camp, a week long camp for abused children living in foster homes where they receive one-on-one counseling, join in outdoor activities receive supplies to go home with and a collection of photos and memories to keep them encouraged.
