| The Port of Bremerton recently budgeted for the construction of a new 12,000 sq. ft. industrial building at Olympic View Industrial Park. The move is in response to the demand for office and warehouse space.
The project is currently in the design phase with N.L. Olson Associates of Port Orchard doing the engineering and Miles Yanick of Bainbridge Island handling the architectural chores for the project.
The building, to be located near the intersection of Barney White Road and Imperial Way, will front Highway 3 and contain two warehouse bays and an office/reception area. Expected completion is this summer.
Olson and W & H Pacific will design conceptual site development, stormwater, road and utility planning for the NE Campus properties and, the highway frontage properties within Olympic View. Both sites are a part of the Ports multi-year capital improvement program and will be developed in phases over the next several years.
Parsons Brinckerhoff has been engaged to update the Ports industrial properties master plan which will establish and define a strategic plan for the marketing of the Ports business and industrial properties at Bremerton National Airport and Olympic View Business and Industrial Park. |
