| District 2 Commissioner Jan Angel recently completed the New County Officials Orientation sponsored by the Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC). The class held December 12-14 in Olympia.
Twenty three counties were represented with 34 newly elected County Commissioners. Areas of study included Law and Justice, County Management, Health and Human Services, Employment Practices, Transportation and Land Use, Budget arid Finance and Election Certification.
Keynote luncheon and dinner speakers included Justice Bobbe Bridge of the Washington State Supreme Court, WSAC Past Presidents, Jay Weber and Karen Miller, current WSAC President Mike Shelton, and Bill Vogler, WSAC Executive Director. |
