| The Homebuilders Association of Kitsap County recently installed its 2001 officers and honored its own for the past year at its annual installation banquet which was held on Dec. 1 at the Kitsap Golf & Country Club.
Honored as Builder of the Year was Doug Woodside of Woodside Construction in Kingston. He is also the outgoing president of the group. Remodeler of the Year honors were bestowed upon Dale Armstrong of JAFA Enterprises. Dee Coppola of Wet Apple Publishing, who has served as secretary of the organization for the past two years as well as been active in the annual Parade of Homes, was named Associate Member of the Year.
Pat Wiles of Harbor Water, who has served on the board of directors and as a state director for many years, was honored as a life director. She is only the sixth member of the organization to be so recognized since the association was founded.
The new officers are: President, Mike Brown, FPH Construction; First Vice President, David Smith, Central Highlands; Second Vice President, John Armstrong, Armstrong Homes; Treasurer, Randy Biegenwald, Randy Biegenwald, CPA; and Secretary, Dee Coppola. Wet Apple Publishing.
Builder directors elected are: Kurt Craig, Eaglecrest Construction; Marc Strickland, SRS Construction: and Dale Armstrong, JAFA Enterprises.
Associate directors elected are: Cheryl Gallup, Pacific Northwest Title and Paul Eckley, Fred Hill Materials.
