Meredith Heights preliminary plat
approved in Poulsbo
The Poulsbo City Council recently approved a proposed 74 lot preliminary plat and planned unit development located at the end of Caldart Avenue, adjacent to the North Kitsap School District’s Administration Building.

The project, proposed by Sabra Development, will subdivide 26.22 acres into 74 single- family detached lots, and will preserve approximately 10.5 acres of open space.

The project also includes a street link between the Deer Run, and Austurbruin subdivisions and the new Meredith Heights project, which will provide the required second access for all three subdivisions. A pedestrian connection to nearby Raab Park will also be included.

The project also boasts a Forest Management Plan that outlines strategies for preservation and enhancement of vegetation throughout the entire site and offers a specific 5-year, phased replanting schedule for the eastern slope (adjacent to Deer Run), to replace existing alder trees with evergreen cedar trees.

The developer anticipates beginning work on the site as soon as final engineering and approvals can be completed.
