| The Poulsbo City Council approved two new commercial office buildings recently.
The Tenth Avenue Office Building is planned as a two-story structure housing professional offices. It is located between Tenth Avenue and SR 305 at the Liberty Way intersection.
It encompasses 9,649 square feet of gross floor area, with 36 parking spaces provided on the .6 acre site. Primary access is from the upper level Tenth Avenue side via an existing driveway which will be shared with the adjacent building to the north owned by the same group, Madison Avenue Development on Bainbridge Island.
The second approval was for the Dogfish Creek Medical Offices, a two-story medical complex. The 26,250 square feet project is located southeast of the existing medical campus situated at Bond Road and SR 305. Proposed uses include 10,600 square feet for outpatient surgery, 11,084 square feet for medical office and 1,050 square feet for retail optical.
The 1.89 acre site will include 88 parking spaces with access through the adjacent property to the north, which is owned by members of the same medical partnership. Future access will be from SR 305.
A third office project has been proposed by custom builders Brian and Marie Peterson of Indianola. Plans submitted call for a two-story, 7,500 square foot office building on a vacant site a half block north of Lincoln Rd. on the west side of Eighth Ave. The project will offer 4,527 square feet of office space on the first floor and 2,975 on the second with 23 parking spaces at basement level. |
