RE/Max associates give record
$4.5 million to charity
Contributions by RE/Max sales associates to the Children’s Miracle Network have exceeded $4.5 million for the 1999-2000 year, topping last year’s total of $4.3 million, according to Carolynn Bond, a Re/Max spokeswoman.

RE/Max members have contributed more than $27.2 million since 1992, when Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) was selected as RE/Max’s primary charity.

CMN is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to generate funds for programs to benefit children and 170 associated children’s hospitals in North America. Each year, CMN-affiliated hospitals treat more than 14 million children with injuries and illnesses of every kind.

The Re/Max franchise network operates in 34 countries through more than 3,600 independently owned offices, including two in Kitsap County with another scheduled to open on Nov. 1.
