| The Poulsbo City Council recently adopted its annual amendments to the Comprehensive Plan.
The amendments included rezoning two parcels of land, northeast of Front Street and Torval Canyon Road, from Low Density Residential to Commercial, while an application to rezone property on 5th Avenue from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential was denied.
The plan received two major textual updates that were written by the Poulsbo Park Commission in 1999 as well. These include a new Park, Recreation and Open Space Plan to be included in the plan.
The final amendment included updates to the Capital Facilities Element regarding public buildings, parks, roads and sewer improvements.
