| HomeAdvisor.com, recently spun off from Microsoft Corp. into HomeAdvisor Technologies Inc., has toppled Homestore.com Inc. from the top of the heap in Gomez Advisors most recent ranking of online real estate companies.
HomeAdvisor.com has assumed the top spot for brokerage and home-listing aggregator sites on the Internet Home Buying Scorecard for summer, complied earlier this month.
Were pretty excited, weve worked pretty hard over the last few months making HomeAdvisor.com everything about the home, from buying and selling, to improvements and furnishings, said Matt Heinz, a HomeAdvisor Technologies spokesman. Weve been a pretty close second for a while, so its great to see us move up in the rankings.
HomeAdvisor, which has home listings, and relocation, mortgage, furnishings and home improvement services, picked up a score of 6.38 on a 1-to-10 scale, under Gomezs criteria, which involves more than 200 factors, ranging from a Web sites download speed and ease of customer use, to customer service quality and timeliness of home listings. |
