| The Moorings at Wharfside, a new condominium project that will encompass a community of buildings on Parfitt Way on Bainbridge Island began construction recently as demolition crews began tearing down the old structures on the site.
The project is comprised of a three story, gable roof structure with four residential units and underground parking. The residential units within the building have been designed for accommodation of those who prefer single level living.
The building is serviced by an elevator which acts as a private entry for the upper units. All units in the building feature south facing decks and views of Eagle Harbor. The upper unit also achieves further views of the City of Seattle skyline. All units are equipped with fireplaces.
The project was designed by Peter Brachvogel AIA, with construction management services being handled by Elizabeth Conklin of the Bainbridge Island firm of BC&J Architecture. Owner/developer of the project is Melanie Cohn of MMC Properties with construction being done by Fairbank Construction Company Inc. |
