Rice Fergus Architects snags four new projects
The Bremerton architectural firm of Rice Fergus recently inked contracts for four new projects.

They will work in conjunction with the Seattle firm of Schreiber & Lane Architects to provide architectural and engineering services for the State of Washington on the new $17 million Bremerton Readiness Center and Regional Training Facility.

The 50,000 sq. ft. project replaces the existing National Guard Armory currently located on Union Ave.

The firm will also design the $2.8 million joint administrative and operations center for Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue and the Silverdale Water District.

Construction on the 4.5 acre site will include a single structure to house administrative offices for both agencies while keeping the fire district maintenance shop and the water district operations building separate.

Phase two of the YWCA of Kitsap County’s new building on Pacific Ave. in Bremerton will be designed by Rice Fergus as well. Plans call for a multi-purpose area to accommodate support meetings and donation storage plus room for a professional clothing wardrobe. Beisley, Inc. of Belfair is the contractor on the $95,691 project.

Tim Ryan Construction will build a new clinic in Harrison Hospital’s Silverdale Healthcare Campus that Rice Fergus will design.

The focus of the new 8,000 sq. ft. facility being built for The Doctor’s Clinic, will be care for women and children and will house a staff of OB/GYN and pediatric physicians.
