Windermere seeking projects
for annual community service day
The local offices of Windermere Real Estate are searching for local volunteer projects for their 2000 Community Service Day on Friday, June 16

On that day, more than 5,000 Windermere agents and staff throughout the Northwest will take the day off to voluntarily work on neighborhood improvement projects.

This is the 16th consecutive year Windermere people donate an entire work day to give back to their communities by working on landscaping, painting, light carpentry and general clean-up projects. Last year, Windermere offices worked on more than 125 volunteer projects benefiting parks, playgrounds, public trails, Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, child care centers, homeless shelters, low-income housing facilities and public schools.

The Windermere program has been recognized nationally as a model hands-on volunteer program that has been adopted by real estate firms and other businesses around the country.

There are five Windermere offices in Kitsap County. Suggestions for projects should be directed to them.
