Carla G. Ginn has been named as the new branch manager of the Port Orchard office of First American Title.

The New Mexico native brings 26 years of title experience to the company. She began her career in Albuquerque, as an escrow agent in 1974, and was later promoted to vice president and branch manager, overseeing two offices and more than 30 employees.

In 1992 she purchased an existing title company which she had been managing, and was an agency representing First American. The office went on to capture a 30 percent market share, making it the market leader in the area.

In 1996 she sold the company to First American and stayed on as vice president and county manager, running two offices with 21 employees, until marrying last year and relocating to Port Orchard.
