Kitsap County Commissioners recently approved a contract with a respected headhunting firm to find candidates for the DCD directors position left vacant by the sudden and unexpected resignation of Kamuron Gurol.
Gurols second in command, Cindy Baker, is serving as interim director. The personnel search firm is expected to meet with key stakeholders for input into the process of finding a permanent director. Baker is expected to be one of the candidates evaluated for the position.
