Ryan wins Courtesy Chevrolet contract
Poulsbo’s Tim Ryan Construction, Inc. has been awarded a contract to build a new 18,500 square-feet of building for the Courtesy Chevrolet dealership.

The facility will be located at Edvard and Viking Way in Poulsbo and is expected to open the Summer of 2002.

Lundwall to head marketing group
Jim Lundwall, co-owner of the Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo offices of Prudential Northwest Real Estate, was recently re-elected to his third consecutive term as chairman of the Prudential real estate’s Puget Sound area marketing group.

The group of twenty-nine offices contains 900 licensed agents. The marketing group’s concerns are web sites, marketing and education.

Drug screening declines
According to the results of an annual survey released by the American Management Association (AMA), drug tests have dropped from a high of 70 percent in 1996. Half of the responses were from manufacturing companies, with the other half distributed across many other industries.

Medical tests of some sort are required of all newly-hired employees in 52 percent with some form of measurable psychological testing also required.
