Pumas to offer soccer camps, coaches symposium and announces first kickoff

The Kitsap Pumas Soccer Camp schedule kicks off on March 29 as the club hosts it’s first-ever “Spring Break” camp on Bainbridge Island at Battlepoint Park from 9-12. The camp runs through Friday, April 2. Cost is $100 for the week, including an official Pumas Camp T-shirt and a ticket to a regular-season Pumas home match. All sessions will be led by the Pumas’ professional players and coaching staff.

The second Spring camp will be held in Port Orchard at South Kitsap High School April 5-9. Prices, times and all other details remain the same. For the full Camps and Clinics schedule visit the website at www.kitsapsoccerclub.com.

Kitsap Coaches’ Symposium: Friday, April 2 the Pumas and Timbers will jointly host the Kitsap Coaches’ Symposium. This is an interactive event led by the coaches, staff and specialists of both clubs. Tickets are only $15. The event will be held from 7:30 — 9:30 p.m. at Bremerton’s Olympic Soccer and Sports Center at Pendergast Park. Tickets may be purchased via brownpapertickets.com or at the door on the day of the event. This event is open to all sports teams, levels, players and coaches. It represents an unprecedented opportunity to learn from many of the best coaches in the sport — right here in Kitsap.

The very next evening, April 3, the Pumas kick off its exhibition/friendly schedule with a match against the USL D1 Timbers. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at Bremerton Memorial Stadium. This same Timbers squad, only one week ago, defeated the MLS Seattle Sounders 1-0 at Seattle’s Qwest Field.

All types of tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the gate on game day. Season ticket holders are admitted to pre-season matches as part of their existing package.
