| Thank you for your very gracious mention of me in your February issue. However, I would like to clarify one statement which was made in the article.
The article indicated that I was “the only person in a four-state region, and the only woman in the country, to hold three medical board certifications.” Rather than “medical board certifications,” the article should have stated “surgical board certifications.” This should be clarified for your readers because there may be non-surgeons (such as internal medicine doctors or family practice physicians) with multiple certifications.
