| The Port of Seattles decision to eliminate all Christmas and Hanukkah decorations from Sea-Tac Airport in the name of tolerance is intolerant of Christians and Jews. In a free society, one religions expression of their beliefs cannot be viewed in any way as diminishing the value of other religious. But the elimination of the Christmas and Hanukkah decorations and the suppression of religious expression in the public square does diminish all of us and darkens a joyous time of year. We cannot allow the tyranny of the minority to reduce others expression and celebration of their religious traditions.
I request that the Port of Seattle open all its terminals to religious displays provided by churches and synagogues as well as other religions during their recognized holidays.
