Free Speech
Democrats support the Fairness Act. That sounds nice, right? I like fairness, so something called the Fairness Act would probably be something I support. I mean, after all, what average citizen would look at that title and say, “No, I prefer unfairness!” No one would.

Now, ask those same average citizens if they think radio commentators should be able to discuss issues and campaigns freely on their shows, as well as, share their opinions on those issues and campaigns as they see fit. I think you’d find that most people support free speech on our air waves.

I’d like to charge all voters in this state to actually look into issues beyond how they sound in title or how they appear on the surface. I think you’ll find that when reasonable people look deeper into these fluffy, nice sounding ideas, they typically find something quite different. That’s why the Fairness Act was struck down by the Washington Supreme Court 9-0. Nine distinguished justices looked at the seemingly appealing Fairness Act and found that it was actually unfair.

Take head citizens of Washington, this is how the democrats work; they take something that is one way and describe it as the opposite in order to attract supporters. Don’t take my word for it and certainly don’t take theirs… always look for yourself!!!
