| They might as well change the name of this place to “Loser County” and its slogan “Never Ready for Prime Time.” Not that I didn’t see this coming. All that talk about the “green racetrack” that I heard in the last few days was totally beside the point. The kind of racetrack the greenies want is no racetrack.
Now Kitsap County can go back to its usual stance of pretending to court new businesses — as long as they’re nice, green businesses that don’t generate any money beyond a salary for the owner, and don’t generate any traffic or release any carbon dioxide.
Hey, we’re okay, we’ll all get by, we’re getting that government check every two weeks. Gee, I sure hope I don’t sound too cynical.
