LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Mullenix Family
I see the Illahee wolf-pack, “Don Jahaske and 8 others,” aren’t through with the Mullenix family yet. They confessed publicly in a local newspaper that they illegally trespassed on private property “at the invitation of a neighbor” (who had no authority to issue such an invitation).

The Mullenix family has jumped through every regulation hoop the county has thrown at them. They survived the scrutiny and expense of a “hearing examiner” appeal. Their variances were unanimously approved by all three county commissioners. And yet the wolf-pack won’t give up. This family has been trying to get a building permit for a year!

The wolf-pack’s recent public letter touts their expertise in septic system technology far superior to that of the health department. I’m underwhelmed.

Mr. Mullenix has defended our constitutional freedoms all of his adult life as career Navy. He has chosen Kitsap County to build his retirement home.  Mr. Mullenix, Kitsap County welcomes you and thanks you for your service to our country. Mr. Jahaske and his ilk do not represent the fine people of Kitsap County.  They are trespassers and should be prosecuted.
