| On February 6 the Passenger Only Ferry will be on the ballot again. Your ballot should be in your mailbox already. $5,000.00 per year will be subsidized for each person who rides these boats. This is so people who make higher wages than Kitsap workers can live on our side cheap but get out of paying the price for their commute. It will drive up prices in Kitsap County but our wages will not go up to compensate.
It begins to look like Empire building for Kitsap Transit with money taken at the cash register from people who can least afford it. Please vote NO.
