LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Eickmeyer
As I read yet another article about the problems of low oxygen levels within the Canal, I am reminded about the legislative race I ran against Bill Eickmeyer eight years ago. Bill saw the problems coming and was already formulating solutions to them. Since then he has worked tirelessly to bring these issues to the attention of the Legislature; sponsoring dozens of bills addressing different aspects of the problem. Recognizing his knowledge and experience he was selected to Chair the Select Committee on Hood Canal. Most recently, he was responsible for passage of the Hood Canal Aquatic Rehabilitation accounts which provide necessary funding to improve the Canal.

The health of Hood Canal is vital to all who reside within the 35th District.

While much still needs to be done to solve these issues, I can think of no one more experienced to address them than Bill “Ike” Eickmeyer. And that is just one of the many reasons I am supporting him for reelection as my state Representative in the 35th.
