| I am writing in response to the letter from Helen Miller of Bremerton. I was appalled and grieved by her inference that Ron Boehme had the appearance of impropriety and was spending too much time with a single young lady, who is by the way, close in age to his daughter. Ron has known this young lady since her birth, and he was appointed her guardian in her parent's will. Their families have a friendship spanning over 30 years.
Ron Boehme is a man of integrity and honor. I have known this man for over ten years and he is, without question, devoted to his wife and children. He is genuine; what you see is what you get. He is a man of truth and uprightness, as is lived out is his daily life. He loves America from the depths of his being. Yes, he is a committed Christian. Does this make him a hard right moralist? How absurd!
I just don't understand what has happened to the political setting that such an inference be made to defame a man of high moral character. The bottom line is, It is wrong!
