LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Boehme
I would like to respond to the letter written last month regarding Ron Boehme, a legislative candidate for the 26th District. I was angered that Ms Miller would insinuate that there is any impropriety between Ron and anyone and so I feel that a response is necessary.

Ron and his wife Shirley were classmates of mine through Junior and Senior High. I knew Ron then to be a leader who led by example. That has continued to be the case through the last thirty-five years since we graduated from South Kitsap High School. I have interacted with Ron and Shirley in many different capacities through those years. I have seen nothing but total commitment to his wife and family. I have also had the privilege of working along side of Ron as an Administrator. Never have I seen anything but honorable, integral and moral behavior from Ron. If anything has changed during this time, it has been that he has continued to develop those character traits. He is always championing us toward those character traits in our own lives and it is a desire to see our nation continue to be built upon those founding stones that has motivated most of those thirty-five years.

It is men and women like him that our country needs in order to restore our greatness as a nation. He is not a politician, he is a man who loves this country and its citizens and is willing to walk into the face of adversity to make a difference, while being integral.
