LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Hamilton
I support Jack Hamilton for County Commissioner. I have known Jack as a friend and member of a service club for more than five years. We have worked together on many projects. He is a person of great experience, knowledge and insight. His experience in the Navy as well as his private sector experience brings an understanding of the world and where Kitsap County fits into a bigger picture. I have observed Jack's involvement in our community to make Kitsap County a better place to live and work.

Jack works well with all types of people. He and I have served as peers on a variety of committees. Jack pitches in to help solve problems and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty when there is work to be done. I have seen him act as a leader as well as a follower. When I was president, he took on a very complicated project. He did such great job he received a distinguished service award. Jack comes to the table prepared and isn't afraid to ask hard questions for which he expects reasoned and appropriate answers. While I do not support all of his positions, I know him to be a reasonable and honest man who will do what is best to Kitsap County. Contrary to what some of his detractors suggest, he works well with others and is team player. He subscribes to basic tenets for our service club: Is it the truth, is it fair and will it be beneficial? He has my full faith and confidence.
