LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Hamilton
My wife and I are thrilled that Jack Hamilton is a candidate for Kitsap County Commissioner in District 3. Our experience with Jack as a problem solver began a few short years ago.

At the request of the county Commissioners about a dozen citizen volunteers from all parts of the county came together as the Community Working Group headed by two county government representatives. Jack was one of those volunteers. We met weekly for approximately a year to discuss and reach reasonable solutions to things such as conservation, environment, development, wildlife and many other topics.

Mr. Hamilton was a pleasant part of our group. Jack was always a good listener and based his input on fact and obvious knowledge of the subjects. His intelligent approach to everything must come from years as a Naval officer and involvement in business and Kitsap County affairs.

We feel that the office of County Commissioner requires a great deal of experience and commitment and we are excited at the prospect of having Jack Hamilton on the team of Kitsap County Commissioners.
