LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Hamilton
I am following the Commissioner race between Jack Hamilton and Josh Brown. What constantly amazes me is how anyone can consider Josh as a viable candidate equal to Jack. There is no way that a 25 year old young man, three years out of college, having just moved out of his parents’ home and into this district, can, in any way, measure up to a man of Jack’s vast and rich experience.

Kitsap County has a 300 million dollar budget and 1,200 employees to manage. Jack has the depth to hold this position because of his education, a successful career in the Navy and several important civilian jobs. He has managed large budgets and large groups of employees.

It is said that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Jack has been involved in his community for years, because he cares deeply — in the Central Kitsap Community Council, United Way, Rotary and many other organizations.

The Jack Hamilton we know has integrity beyond measure and will be a real leader, which is what this county so desperately needs, to be an advocate for the people of Kitsap County. I would trust him in any realm and ask for your vote for him in November.
