| I have to agree with Vivian Hendersons rationale for supporting I-933. I too will be voting for it, and will encourage everyone I know to join me in doing so.
The bureaucrats in Olympia and here in our own courthouse have stolen our property in a quiet, but systematic way that most people arent even aware of until they try and get a permit to do something. Sometimes its even something they used to be able to do with their land that you didnt need a permit for!
First it was the Critical Areas Ordinance, which has stolen huge chunks of our land away and we dont even get a tax reduction for not being able to use it. My new tax assessment says my property is worth more than twice as much as it was the last time it was assessed. Id like to see my tax statement broken up to show the difference between how much the usable parts are worth and the parts the Critical Areas Ordinance has now made off limits, are worth.
Now the county is working on its 10-year update to the Comp Plan. How much of our property will be stolen under that? Vote Yes on I-933!
