| It absolutely blows my mind that you would even consider printing such uninformed dribble. Adele Fergusen is a complete idiot who talks about things she has no education or knowledge about. Yet because it is printed in a newspaper, people will automatically consider her misinformation to be true.
For example, that Charter schools are better than public schools. There is considerable information to the contrary. She insults our hard working teachers, the vast majority of whom are dedicated, intelligent, and caring people. I bet she has never spent a single moment in a modern classroom, let alone attempted to teach children. If she wants to talk about schools, how about pointing out that Washington is ranked almost at the very bottom of the country in dollars spent per child for education.
Her twisted view that slavery was a ticket to America is beyond comment and shows an insensitivity that I thought had long ago died. Clearly some dinosaurs still exist.
Do us all a favor and dump this fool and gain some credibility for your publication.
