| If you haven’t read the proposed Critical Areas Ordinance, you should. If you think it protects our environment, you would be mistaken. It is so convoluted, so ambiguous, and so poorly written, it doesn’t even define the word “Critical.”
What this is, is a land grab the likes of which we’ve never seen in Washington State. If you think the Growth Management Act took away your right to do what you want with your own land, you’ll be thankful for what it it leaves you with after reading this.
You owe it to yourself and to future generations, to call your county commissioner and urge her to vote against this. It’s not just unconstitutional, it’s just flat out wrong!
