It pleased me to see the people of Kitsap County had the good sense to not only re-elect Jan Angel, but to do it by a large majority. I hope this will send a message to the more liberal among us that we citizens — including card-carrying Democrats — disagree with our local government dictating what we can and can’t do with our land as Charlotte Garrido advocates.
   It took a lot of Democrats crossing over to re-elect Commissioner Angel. I hope the party is listening.
