Dino Rossi is the only acceptable choice for governor in this election.

Chris Gregoire and the Democrats have done so much to hurt our state in the last 20 years that I have to wonder why a thinking person would ever consider voting for her.

Remember, it was $18 million of OUR money that she lost because she couldn’t meet a deadline. Then she tried to cover it up. When that didn’t work, rather than take responsibility, she made someone in her office into a scapegoat.

When that person filed suit, Gregoire settled out of court because she knew she’d lose if it ever went to trial. When it was investigated, Gregoire tried to cover that up as well as influence the outcome of the investigation.

In the end, the person Gregoire tried to blame got all her back pay, another state job she wasn’t even qualified for — and a financial settlement that WE paid for!

And why is she so afraid to debate Dino Rossi? She refused to participate in the one with him and Ron Sims sponsored by Channel 5, and now says that if Channel 5 is involved, she won’t show up for the AWB debate with Rossi either. Is she afraid of answering hard questions on TV where voters can see the difference in the candidates ?

Like Rossi says, “If something hasn’t worked for 20 years, why would you keep doing it and expect a different result?”

Please vote for Dino Rossi — it’s time for new thinking in Olympia.
