Home & Garden show

The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the more than 60 exhibitors and 1,200-plus people who attended the inaugural Home & Garden Show at Woodward Middle School March 20.

The Chamber presented the Home & Garden Show in partnership with Wells Fargo, Bainbridge Gardens and The Sun newspaper. The all-day event included a trade show and presentations by a number of home and garden experts, including islanders, Tom Kelly and Ann Lovejoy and radio and TV personality Cisco Morris.

The goal of the event was to a create market place for area businesses involved in home and gardens segments at a time of year when people are thinking of buying or remodeling their homes or improving the gardens and landscaping.

The Chamber would like to extend its thanks to a host of committed volunteers, who helped make the first-ever Home & Garden Show a rip-roaring success: Lois Boubong, Erin Gallagher-Whitson, Kevin Hawkins, Jeff Bilski, Harry Field, Jeanne Soulier, Patti Shannon, Helene Dahlander, Jacqueline King, Ann Lovejoy, Tom Kelly, Charlie Frame, Eddie Smith, Kent Kass, Rodney Bauch, Jerry Clark and Sheri Watson, Susanne Blaske, Margie McDevitt, and Bill and Anita Crosby.
A special thanks to Town & Country Market for donating hot dogs and beverages that were sold by members of the Bainbridge Lacrosse Club as a fundraiser.
