I read Bill Hoke’s essay, “Incubators, entrepreneurs and studies” and thought Bill’s point is well made. It is, our Kitsap Regional Economic Development Council squanders resources, be it time, business donations, taxpayers’ dollars and something else.

So, what are we to do? Use the tool, Washington CASH (Community Alliance for Self-Help) that’s in plain sight, or just do more studies? Teach people to build business so they can feed themselves or just do another study? Nurture, cultivate and protect our human resources so they can grow and blossom, or just do another study? Clean out the wax from our ears, the sleep from our eyes, and the cobwebs from our brains, or just do another “quick study?” Smell the coffee, see the light, feel the heat, get up and get moving, or just do another “quick study?”
