The Dispute Resolution Center of Kitsap County was a recipient of United Way’s 9th Annual Day of Caring held on Wednesday, June 19. Laura & Jason Turner and Don Leonardy were three of the volunteers who joined Margaret Lavender (DRC employee) at our building for several hours of outdoor painting.

We send our heartfelt thanks to Laura, Jason, Don and Margaret for all their hard work making improvements to our building. It was a wonderful day to be outdoors, and the DRC staff is cheered by how great the deck area outside our mediation room and backdoor stairs now look. This annual United Way event drew more than 200 community volunteers, dispersed to Kitsap area organizations to complete projects-in-need. We are grateful for all our community volunteers and what a positive impact they have on Kitsap County businesses and residents.
