Letters To The Editor - The Business Journal
I just read the latest issue of The Kitsap Business Journal and was totally impressed! I very much enjoyed the articles on “Smart Growth” and the Growth Management Act. After ten years, we finally have some feedback, and what I read wasn’t positive. The costs for a home in North Kitsap went way up!

I was glad to see so many citizens write in concerning our commissioners’ poor behavior. They have meetings to get public input, yet when citizens go to a commissioners’ meeting, they are chastised for speaking out. Talk about trying to muzzle the public! There are many letters that go unpublished because they are too long. I would like to see an edition where citizens can write in without the word limitation to fully express how they feel and the points they would like to make. It would be very enlightening for the rest of the community.

I don’t consider myself Democrat or Republican, just a citizen who very much cares about her community. I am so sick of partisan labels. I think the freeholders did an excellent job considering how many there were and their different political persuasions. But I very much resent this so-called partisan politics.

Keep up the great work!
