Letters To The Editor - Indignation
This letter is in reply to Richard Horn’s recent “Our Views” editorial in The Sun, titled “Its not easy being a Green Republican.”

Regarding this editorial: are wolves masquerading as sheep all right as long as they are Democratic wolves?

Where was the Sun’s indignation when this game was played: Democrat Sherry Appleton declared as a Republican and ran a negative campaign against incumbent Senator Ellen Craswell.

And later, Democrat Charles Bickel declared as a Republican and ran a vindictive, mean campaign against incumbent Republican Commissioner Matt Ryan.

Where was this indignation and investigation when “the Press” could not write enough about the Democrats crossing over to vote in the Blanket Primary to affect the outcome of which Republican candidate would succeed to run against their candidate Gary Locke??

Or when a number of the voters who attended Republican caucus last spring later declared themselves to be Democrats? Are these examples of Independent votes?

Of course, this information makes it quite apparent that the blanket primary is an open door to such manipulative events. Are such events OK as long as they are played against only the Republicans?
