| I just came home from the Port Orchard Wal-Mart and I'm just amazed at how I was treated. Treated by the customer that was standing in line behind me.
My son had purchased a Lego set with his own money, and was overcharged by six dollars, I noticed it and It was adjusted (no problem). I purchased six packs of Capri Suns on sale for $1.47. I corrected the checker when they rang up at $1.97 (no problem). After the transaction I noticed that I was charged twice for film developing, so I went back to the Cashier.
The customers that were waiting in line behind me blamed me for Wal-Mart's mistakes! They loudly told me that I was holding up the line, and that I should wait my turn. I was totally embarrassed. I was overcharged three times (at a total of $14.12), and was completely shocked at how I was treated because of inaccurate pricing. Not one person jumped in to defend me or fix the items that were over ringing. So I grabbed a tag and told the Manager (Buffy) to fix it.
Now I am assuming that everyone in retail understands that the customer is the heart of the business. By in my experience, this is the incorrect way to run one. Sorry just didn't cut it.
