| I’m surprised to read that you would ditch the Electoral College. In that case Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and California would elect our president each and every time. If it weren’t for the Electoral College the less populated states would never have any representation.
As far as other elections that are determined by popular vote they are state, county and local elections.
In fact, King County now seems to control most of the state offices that are voted on in elections. Isn’t that how Cantwell got in?
