| Thank you for your story about the VCB. I have to agree with that man who said, “Only in Kitsap.”
Frankly, I am shocked at the level of unprofessionalism that passes for routine business in Kitsap County..
I came here 10 years ago when I married a man from Bainbridge Island, after working in the advertising and public relations fields in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. I currently work in the marketing field in Seattle.
In any of the other places I have previously worked, if a quasi-public agency such as the VCB attempted to spend one thin dime outside the area they serve, the executive director and board members would be polishing up their resumes.
Perhaps this group should think about it as well. Their brand of arrogance doesn’t play well and will come back to haunt them.
