| I am truly sorry the Kitsap County VCB doesn’t recognize “Local Talent” and went to Seattle for their advertising campaign. I just have to wonder whose relative or old college chum has been hired.
There is plenty of talent in Kitsap County for absolutely everything that needs to be done in producing an advertising campaign for this area. I happen to be married to a professional voice that is recognized at the National level — with his own recording studio — right here in good old Kitsap County. He has produced TV and video work using local public relations people for years.
Why were there no RFPs (request for proposals) put out in our very own county? I will gladly direct the VCB to local talent since it’s obvious they are not aware of talent in our own county — and in the position they’re in, they should be ashamed.
