He retired from Raytheon in 2006, after 37 years. Twenty years were in Minneapolis and 10 years in Mukilteo before moving to Kitsap County in 2000. Brueggemann was a Program Manager for most of his career and Raytheon’s Senior Manager at Keyport from 2000 until he retired.

“As we look ahead we need to find ways to improve the financial future of the organization” said Brueggemann. “My “interim” job is to evaluate what leadership skills will be needed, write the job description and then assist the Board in hiring the right person to provide that leadership. We expect that process will take 6 to 9 months.”
