Jackson celebrates 13 years in business |
| Mallory Jackson, owner of Custom Picture Framing in downtown Port Orchard, will be celebrating thirteen years in business this month. She offers museum quality custom framing, shadow boxing, and matting. I can look at several different items and do the layout, said Jackson about her work.
Jackson has a graphic design and public relations background and started her career at the Tacoma Art Museum. After moving to Vaughn the commute to Tacoma became too much, so she decided to open her own business. After looking at several locations she felt Port Orchard had a need for a frame shop located in historic downtown. She contributes her thirteen years of success to her good location, loyal customers, putting in overtime when needed and sticking to posted hours.Jackson is also the founding president of the Port Orchard Bay Street Association, the group of downtown merchants that have been extremely active in the economic revitalization of Port Orchards downtown waterfront district. |
