Endresen earns Public Administration degree
Kitsap County Commissioner Chris Endresen received her Master of Public Administration degree on June 9 from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. Endresen earned a 3.7 grade point average in the two-year program.

“The Evans School program was perfect for me because I’m always looking for ways to do my job better,” Endresen said. “This was a fantastic opportunity to learn from the best practices on innovative business processes and solutions, and look for ways I can adapt those to the public sector.”

Endresen was accepted into the Evans School program despite not having an undergraduate degree – the Evans School made an exception for Endresen because of her 20 years of experience in local and regional government and her undergraduate record.

When Endresen was accepted into the Evans School, she was taking classes toward her undergraduate degree through Bellevue Community College’s online program and was maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
