Steve Lammers, Chef-Instructor at Olympic College in Bremerton has been selected as the Culinary Educator of the Year of the 13 Western United States by the American Culinary Federation.

Chef Lammers will compete for National Culinary Educator in a lecture-demonstration and cook-off at the 2005 ACF national convention in San Antonio, July 30 – August 3.

The award pays tribute to an active culinary educator whose knowledge, skills, expertise and guidance have enhanced the image of the professional chef and who, by example and direction to students seeking a career in the culinary profession.
